Founded in June 2008, Tus Thunip (Kaifeng) Water Co., Ltd. operates Kaifeng East and West wastewater treatment plants on a TOT basis, with a total treatment capacity of 320,000 tons per day after expansion, and the effluent is subject to the “Pollutant Emission Standards for Urban Wastewater Treatment Plants” (GB18918-2002) Class I-A emission standards.

Kaifeng East District Sewage Treatment Plant covers an area of 14.47 hectares, with a service area of 51.6 square kilometers; Kaifeng West District Sewage Treatment Plant covers an area of 9.63 hectares, with a service area of 41.3 square kilometers. Kaifeng East District and West District Sewage Treatment Plants operate stably, and the effluent is better than the designed discharge standard discharge, which makes positive contribution to the total emission reduction of Kaifeng City, improves the water ecological environment as well as the quality of life of the people, and ensures the sustainable economic and social development of the city.
