Xianyang city urban kitchen waste resource utilization and harmless treatment project for the second batch of national kitchen waste resource utilization and harmless treatment pilot city project, the project total investment of 109.52 million yuan, covers an area of 28.5 acres, the design of collection and treatment scale of 100 tons / day, the franchise period of 25 years (including the construction period), service in Xianyang city urban kitchen waste collection, transportation, disposal.

The project started civil construction and installation in May 2016, and the project construction was fully completed in November 2017, starting with material commissioning. on June 1, 2018, the project and Xianyang City passed the acceptance of the second batch of pilot cities for resourceful utilization and harmless treatment of kitchen waste organized by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Finance (MOF), and the Ministry of Housing and Construction (MOH). The project was officially transferred to commercial operation on November 23, 2019, and on September 28, 2020, the project completion acceptance filing was completed.

The project process adopts “pre-treatment (mechanized treatment), anaerobic fermentation (microbial treatment technology), biogas purification, sewage treatment, odor treatment, etc.”, which ensures that the environmental protection standards are met while ensuring the resourceful utilization and harmless treatment of kitchen waste by converting kitchen waste into industrial crude oil and grease, biogas and other resources. In 2021, the actual operation scale will be 103.83 tons/day, the oil production rate of kitchen waste will be 5.05%, the average daily output of industrial crude oil and grease will be 5 tons, and the average daily output of biogas will be 6,000 m3, which can fully guarantee the daily production and cleaning of kitchen waste in the urban area of Xianyang City, and effectively ensure that the project lays a foundation for the realization of the overall goal of resource-saving and environment-friendly society.
